This evening, Martina and myself were at Oma’s house, and Ellie had been playing on the floor for a while by herself. Oma started throwing the ball to her, and when it was out of Ellie’s reach, she assumed the position of crawling (as she had done many times before), only this time, she edged one leg forward, and then the other, and repeated the process. She seemed to get the hang of it pretty quickly!
So while she’s been “scooting” for 4-6 weeks, she just started crawling today after 10.5 months. So, tonight, I’m in the process of installing baby gates…
