Snuggling with Daddy

Sometimes I get lucky enough to get a snuggle with Ellie. She’s never been very cuddly, so I take every chance I can get.

Chilling after a hard day’s work

Ellie was feeling snuggly today and uncharacteristically decided to snuggle up with me after a long day of work. She just makes everything better.

In the past month or so, Ellie has become more “snuggly”, which I love. She’ll now happily snuggle up to me and just lay with me, especially in the mornings. Works out nicely for me, since I love to cuddle!

It’s been a bit hard to get a nice picture of Ellie this week, since her first tooth is on its way, but she’s been happy this morning, so I jumped at the chance.

Our Christmas trip to Mount Dora

The past two years, Martina and I have gone to Mount Dora a weekend or two before Christmas, as a little getaway. It also helped us to get a bit more in the Christmas spirit, as that can be hard when it’s 80+ degrees outside: Mt Dora is quite a small little town in central Florida, which goes all out for Christmas and it’s a nice place to kick back and get festive.

This year, we had no intention of stopping that tradition, so we invited Marti’s mom along and the four of us enjoyed a nice little weekend. We stayed at Maison en Ville, which is an excellent little B and B, downtown, within walking distance of all the town’s offerings.

Ellie’s really starting to enjoy cuddles, which of course, we love too.

Story time

Ellie has really taken to being read to, so this morning we enjoyed reading lots of books together in bed.

A snuggly evening

Ellie has been especially snuggly this evening, and we’ve been making the most of it!

My favorite time of day

My favorite time of day is whenever Ellie has just woken up or she has just been fed, and she’s in a dozy, comatose mood and she just wants to snuggle right up to you.
