Ellie’s wagon

An American icon, the Radio Flyer wagon is a red cart that you can either pull your children around in or when they’re older, allow them to pull stuff around. They’re quite expensive these days, so when we saw a pimped-out “all-terrain” model at a thrift shop, we snapped it up.

This morning, I took Ellie for a walk in it before it got too hot and she just loved looking around at the people, trees and animals as we wandered around our new placid neighborhood. Continue reading “Ellie’s wagon”

Throwing Ellie into the air [VIDEO]

This past Sunday was the first day that we dared to venture in the pool this year and while it was pretty chilly, it was certainly a lot of fun. Ellie got right back into the swing of having fun in the water. I wasn’t expecting however that when I counted “1, 2, 3” before throwing her into the air that she’d start counting in German instead! Playing with uncle Tyler

Ellie’s uncle Tyler (actually her first cousin once removed) is now living near to us, so Ellie has been spending a lot of time with him. In fact, she’d much rather spend time with him than with us. She’s constantly asking for “Ti-luh!”.

She has taken to this new activity of sitting on people’s chests or sometimes their necks, so I fear that we’re going to have our hands very full as she grows up, especially with a brother on the way! Continue reading “Playing with uncle Tyler”

Ellie’s eager to play on the swings [VIDEO]

Lately, we’ve been taking advantage of the lovely Florida winter weather by going to the park regularly, which Ellie really enjoys.
