Fridge magnets
Now that Ellie’s on the move and occasionally migrates to the kitchen, we got her some alphabet letter magnets to play with, which she loves.

Playing is tiring
When Ellie has been playing on her play mat and she’s had enough, she puts her arms out and just rests her head down, which is simply adorable!

Now that Ellie is able sit by herself and needs to be entertained much more, she has taken quite nicely to play time, sitting down on the floor with a selection of toys and chatting away. She can keep herself occupied for quite a while, which is nice, because we can actually get stuff done!
Wooden toys
We both feel strongly that kids toys shouldn’t be made of plastic, so Ellie’s toys are wooden: they last a lot longer, they aren’t toxic and they’re just nicer than their plastic counterparts. Thank goodness for Melissa & Doug!

Ellie sure loves her tummy time, especially now that she’s able to roll back and forth.
