Despite her pyjamas, Ellie definitely isn’t “crabby” in the mornings (when she’s wearing them at night, that might be a different story). Continue reading “Not-so-crabby Ellie [VIDEO]”
This week, Ellie has been a bit more predictable and happier, which has made working and taking care of her at the same time a little easier. She just loves to smile, especially when she wakes up.
It took us a while to even get a photo like this, but here are Ellie’s tiny fingers wrapped around my index finger.
I swear that this was not posed, but Ellie really likes to put her hands by her ears (like she’s on the phone), or behind her head. She’ll be heading to the beach before we know it.
Maybe she doesn’t know what a smile is and that’s just what her facial muscles decided to do at that tune, or maybe she really is starting to smile. Either way, we think she’s particularly cute.
Today Ellie had her first bath, and while we were perhaps expecting a bit more of a fight, she actually quite seemed to enjoy it!
We finally plucked up the courage to try and get a handprint and footprint from little Miss Squiggles. Certainly not an easy task, but I think we rocked it!
Rather than upload every single photo in a new post and start overwhelming people, I figured I’d hold back a little and collect them into small galleries so that you get a whole bunch of cuteness all at once. So enjoy this little gallery of photos from the past week or so.

We put Ellie into this outfit that Marti and I just adore, and she just makes the outfit even cuter!
Ellie definitely has eyes for her Daddy (although, in fairness, she doesn’t have much choice since I shoved my big noggin in her face!)
