Good morning!

When I went to get Ellie from her nap this morning, I was greeted by the most adorable face you could imagine. I’m so blessed to have a daughter this beautiful and amazing.

Playing is tiring

When Ellie has been playing on her play mat and she’s had enough, she puts her arms out and just rests her head down, which is simply adorable!

We ventured back from Mount Dora today, hosted a baby shower, and finally went to Marti’s aunt’s house to see some family and friends, and Ellie was pooped by the end of the day, such that she fell asleep in my arms, which she very rarely does.

Ellie’s first trip

Last weekend, Martina, Ellie and myself ventured out to Orlando, because I was speaking at WordCamp Orlando.

Travelling with a young child is quite an ordeal: we had an insane amount of baggage with us (pack ‘n’ play, diapers, clothes, clothes, clothes, stroller etc.).

Fortunately, our drive over was exceptionally easy: Ellie slept the full two hours and woke up as we pulled up at the hotel. Amazing! Continue reading “Ellie’s first trip”

Ashamed

Lately, Ellie’s been feeling ashamed while she’s eating…

Photo shoots are tiring

This morning, we had a photo shoot with Ellie in the park, while my Dad is here in Florida visiting us, and she was quite exhausted from the whole process, but that didn’t stop us from continuing our photo shoot.

She sleeps

On weekends like this, when Ellie decides that she doesn’t much fancy sleeping, moments like these are a real blessing!
