Major events in Ellie’s life
Christmas Day was spent amongst great company, eating too much food, playing lots of games and opening presents.

On Christmas Eve, Mama had made plans long in advance to visit Raystede Animal Sanctuary, in Ringmer, near Lewes.

Since Grandad lives so close to Southwick station, we have generally been taking the train to go into Brighton, or to visit friends, as we did today.

Today, we headed over to Aunty Nicola’s house to see everyone again and to meet Granny.

Our first few days in England were characterized by lots of sleeping, meeting family members and more snoozing.

As part of our mini-Christmas, Ellie got a Radio Flyer, which she soon took to pulling around the house. It was adorable watching her pull it along, deciding it was too much effort, abandoning it, turning around and realising it was no longer with her before fetching it again. Since we’re heading back to England for Christmas this year, we had lunch with a family friend (Karli) yesterday and opened a couple of presents while we are still in Florida.
We’re very thankful to have such generous people in Ellie’s life, and we truly appreciate anyone who wishes to buy her a gift.
With that in mind though, we’re not raising Ellie in a “conventional” fashion and there are certain things that we’d rather Ellie did not have, or that she simply cannot have.
